    Code of Conduct

    Players representing Coomera FC are expected to:

    • Be sporting and fair
    • Strive for excellence through being challenged and playing for enjoyment
    • Positively and actively contribute to their team’s performance, never give up or make excuses
    • Treat everyone as they expect to be treated themselves
    • Always play by the rules
    • Cooperate with the team and game officials, play the game as it happens
    • Display exemplary behaviour both on and off the field of play
    • Abide by this Coomera FC Player Code of Conduct
    • Abide by Football Australia’s National Code of Conduct and Ethics.

    Team Officials representing Coomera FC are expected to:

    • Ensure all participants understand their responsibilities regarding fair play and appropriate behaviour
    • Provide leadership and set positive examples
    • Be consistent, respectful and helpful
    • Be competent and appropriately qualified to assume positions of responsibility
    • Communicate effectively with other officials and players
    • Understand and assist the General Manager and Operations Manager with enforcing the Players/Spectators Code of Conduct
    • Abide by Football Australia’s National Code of Conduct and Ethics

    Members, Parents & Spectators at Coomera FC training, matches & events are expected to:

    • Respect the rights and worth of every person, regardless of their age, race, gender, ability, cultural background, sexuality or religion.
    • Do not tolerate abusive, bullying or threatening behaviour.
    • Support the training and game environments positively.
    • Abide by the club’s playing style and refrain from conflicting tactical input; let the coach manage their team and pose any queries to technical leads.
    • Support club staff in terms of teaching or development tasks set by review or feedback.
    • Understand and assist the Team Officials, Coach and/or Manager with enforcing the Players/Spectators Code of Conduct.
